A ship’s log is a sort of diary, telling all the important things that happen day by day on and to a ship. The word weblog came along soon after the web became popular, and now it’s been shortened to blog. I love blogs because they are a way that people can talk about the things that interest them the most and reach other people with the same interests, whether it’s trains or children or Paris or writing.
